Tāne Mahuta Aotearoa is running a series of taster courses for those interested in forestry. During the courses, rangatahi will learn about the skills they need to get a job in forestry and see the career path available in forestry.
During the courses, there is also the opportunity to hear what it's like working in the forestry industry with experienced industry workers. The courses are being held to encourage youth and more to have a chance to give planting work a go, with the potential to walk away with a job that day.
The courses are being held:
Gisborne, 5-6 May
Hastings, 12-13 May
Rotorua, 17 - 18 May
